 3rd National Congress of UGT

UGT, still in its path of unitary fight in defense of workers of Brazil and of the development of a civic, ethical, independent, democratic and innovative unionism will hold its 3rd National Congress.

This event, which will take place in Sao Paulo on June 16, 17 and 18, will gather more than three thousand workers of Brazil and will be the opportunity to draw the paths that the trade union central will follow in the next four years.

Despite being in a turbulent period for the Brazilian political situation, 2015 is special for us who are part of UGT, since the trade union central celebrates eight years of fight, accomplishments
and achievements that consolidated this institution as a leading actor in the
development of a more just, equalitarian and sovereign society.

Dear colleagues,

I am honored to invite you to attend the 3rd National Congress of UGT. This event, which will take place in Sao Paulo, on June 16, 17 and 18, will gather more than three thousand workers of Brazil and will be a good opportunity to draw the paths that the trade union central will follow in the next four years.

 Event Location

This event will take place at Anhembi Pavilion – Convention Center of Sao Paulo, at the Olavo Fontoura Avenue, 1209 – Santana neighborhood. Located next to the two main Expressways of São Paulo: Marginal Tietê (access to highways and east/west sides) and Santos Dumont avenue (Access to downtown and south side).

 This location has easy access to the Guarulhos (international/national) and Congonhas airports (national and air shuttle Rio de Janeiro).

 It is also next to ‘Campo de Marte’ (heliport and airport for private jets), providing more security to authorities and executives.

 It is near the Tiete Bus Station (interstate/international) and near the Tiete subway station. There is a regular bus line 278A (Ceasa – Penha) and taxi ranks in this station.
